We were delighted to host Mr. Clint Malarchuk for our 2018 Breakfast of Champions event in London, Ontario on May 8, who we booked through Speakers’ Spotlight.

Elise, I wanted to share how delighted we were with Mr. Malarchuk’s appearance in all aspects of our event. Clint was very generous with his time, which included a tour of our facilities during which he met personally with many patients in our hospital; with sponsors at the VIP reception, the main breakfast event itself, members of the local media, and a book signing immediately afterward. He was authentically engaged with everyone he met, which gave our attendees a remarkable event experience. Mr. Malarchuk was also accompanied by his wife, Joanie, whose own engagement in the various elements added immeasurably to our success.

Clint’s presentation had considerable impact on the audience. His story is both heartfelt and heartbreaking ... raw ... deeply personal ... and also hope-filled. In a room of 1200+ guests, a pin drop could have been heard during his presentation. His lived experience is real, but it is also his delivery of his hard message that connects with the audience. Clint’s presentation style is warm, honest and open, and I watched our audience connect with him instantly because it’s obvious his style is also exactly who he is. I’ve seen many, many speakers over the last 30 years of my career, but I’ve seldom seen anyone connect with an audience as naturally as Clint Malarchuk.

My team and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Clint. He was very open to doing anything he could to ensure our event’s success; he was extremely flexible. He and his wife were gracious and personable with everyone they met; and our community immediately embraced them both as a result.
